Evan Parker, saxophone
“Evan Parker (born 1944) was a pivotal figure in the development of European free jazz and free improvisation. He has pioneered or substantially expanded an array of extended techniques. Parker has recorded a large number of albums both solo or as a group leader, and has recorded or performed with Peter Brötzmann, Derek Bailey, Keith Rowe, Joe McPhee, Anthony Braxton, Cecil Taylor, John Zorn, Fred Frith, Bill Laswell, Ikue Mori, Thurston Moore, Milford Graves, George Lewis, Tim Berne, Mark Dresser, Dave Holland, Sylvie Courvoisier, and many others. Two key associations have been pianist Alexander von Schlippenbach’s trio with Parker and drummer Paul Lovens and a trio with bassist Barry Guy and drummer Paul Lytton. (…) He also has appeared in pop-music contexts: on Scott Walker’s Climate of Hunter, and has made notable appearances on record with Robert Wyatt.”

Jacob Anderskov, piano
“Anderskov expands sonic language of Danish Jazz. … Superb.” – Peter Margasak, Down Beat, USA, Marts 2013.

Forsythia
Lisa Vogel – Violin
Pauline Hogstrand – Viola
Nicole Hogstrand – Cello
Tyge Jessen – Trumpet
Julius Windisch – Piano, Compositions
Alexander Dawo – Double Bass
Simon Albertsen – Drums
Julius Windisch mixes influences from romantic music, contemporary classical music, electronic, programmed music with the spirit and the sound of Jazz and Free Improvisation.
He is trying to present that many different kinds of music are not as far apart from each other as it is the social belief they are. In the end it is only about the message one tries to convey with his or her music. It is this message that interests Julius and that he tries to develop – his vision of music that he always wants to come closer to.
