Tomo Jacobson – double bass

It is a world premiere of Tomo Jacobson’s solo project. There will be a lot of low pitches, body and soul.
Tomo Jacobson is a Polish-born musician and composer playing double bass based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is The Rhythmic Conservatory in Copenhagen graduate.
As a musician he is mostly known for his work in the field of free improv and contemporary jazz. Tomo’s playing style is recognized to be very organic, forward-going, often rough and pushing the sonic possibilities of double bass. He has an unique, recognizable sound and a very strong sense of direction.
Tomo has been very fortunate having played with wonderful musicians like John Tchicai, Andrew D’Angelo, Lotte Anker, Adam Rudolph, Rasul Siddik, Peter Ole Jørgensen, Mat Maneri, Randy Peterson, Kresten Osgood, Hugh Steinmetz, Anders Banke, Nils Davidsen and others.

Jonas Ingemann Due Steffensen – trumpet
Rinalds Maksimovs – drums

Maksimovs/Ingemann duo is new experimental band which explores tradition of trumpet and drum interaction. At the same time Maksimovs/Ingemann duo goes against it, ruining any expectations!
Some original compositions will be played as well as free improvisations.
