Aagot – solo improvisation for Campanula Quinton
Aagot will perform on Campanula Quinton, a newly invented instrument, by the German luthier Helmut Bleffert. The instrument has 5 strings and 13 sympathetic strings that create a unique sound character. By performing acoustically in Koncert Kirken, Aagot will explore the resonance of this space by employing extended techniques and a feeling for transcendence.

Lone Aagot Meinich (1995-) is a Norwegian performer and composer based in Copenhagen working in the fields of free improvised and experimental music, as well as contemporary classical and early music. She creates compositions and performances across mediums and artistic disciplines. Currently a master student at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen and Zürich University of Arts.

CELLS
The acoustic ensemble CELLS is made of singular personalities from the Copenhagen’s improvised and experimental music scene, playing compositions by Rémy Gouffault.
Every unique sound from each musician is collected to build a collage, intertwining the color of a string quartet, a wind quartet and two percussion sets.
Every cell leans into each other or suddenly tilts as a radical birth of a new soundscape. Composed with different tools such as timers, graphic scores, or classical notation, the music brings a harmonic mass through melodic lines, unpredictable combinations of musicians choices, and a pointillistic aesthetic.
