SONGS TO MY VIOL

Dowland, Hume, Sting, they all sing and accompany themselves on their favorite instrument – be it the double bass, lute or viola da gamba. Georg takes their songs and adds some new ones to this repertoire of singer songwriter tradition.
He loves mathematics and chocolate, likes to go hiking, once studied electrotechnical engineering, bums cigarettes, has never drunken coffee and once wanted to become motorman or child prodigy until it turned out, that for at least one of those it was already too late…
As actor in TOM OF FINLAND by Dome Karukoski and in BABYLON BERLIN by Tom Tykwer Georg will be on cinema and TV screens in 2018. Else he sings and plays the viol, double bass, baroque cello and baroque guitar e.g. in FetishBaroque and Neue Hofkapelle Graz, on festivals like styriarte, Festspiele Potsdam Sanssoucis, Utrecht Oude Muziek Festival, Early Music Festival Cologne or Classic Meets Fetish at Folsom Berlin and loves staged music theatre productions, being part of SEASONS – a circus theatre production with acrobats and FUGIT a street theatre production with street theatre group Kamchàtka, both staged by Adrian Schvarzstein.
