Oplev koncerten, som skulle have været i Nordens Hus denne internationale jazzdag, direkte fra Koncertkirken i København.
30. april er international jazzdag og efter planen skulle Simon Toldam Trio have spillet i Nordens Hus. Så kom Corona, og i stedet for at aflyse, valgte vi at gå i samarbejde med Koncertkirken i København og arrangere en direkte streamet koncert.
Om koncerten
Music for Three er en ny suite, som er skrevet til lejligheden. Simon Toldam Trio kan i år fejre både 10 års jubilæum og en splinterny pris for bedste jazzalbum i Danmark.
De siger således om koncerten: “Vi havde planlagt at komme til Færøerne for at spille i Nordens Hus, men på grund af denne helt særlige situation i vores kære verden, er Færøerne lukket, og vi er hjemme. Så nu når det er svært for os at komme til jer, må i komme til os – virtuelt altså.”

Koncerten er et samarbejde imellem Nordens Hus på Færøerne, Koncertkirken, neue.pink og Simon Toldam Trio.
Simon Toldam Trio kommer selvfølgelig til Færøerne for at spille en “rigtig” koncert senere.

Listen live to the concert that wast supposed to happen in the Nordic House this international jazz day, when it’s streamed from Koncertkirken in Copenhagen.
30 April is International Jazz Day and on this day Simon Toldam Trio were due to play a concert in the Nordic House in the Faroe Islands. Then Corona happened, but instead of cancelling the concert, in collaboration with Koncertkirken in Copenhagen, we have arranged for the concert to happen online.
Music for Three is a new suite composed for this special occasion. This year Simon Toldam Trio celebrates both their 10th anniversary and their newly awarded “Best Jazz Album 2019” in Denmark.
The trio say the following about the concert: We had planned to go to the Faroe Islands to play at The Nordic House, but due to the very special circumstances in our dear world, they are closed, and we are home. So since its difficult for us to get to you, this time you’ll have to come to us ! In virtuality that is…”

The concert is a collaboration between the Nordic House, Koncertkirken, Neue.pink and Simon Toldam Trio.
Simon Toldam Trio will of course be doing a “real” concert in the Nordic House at a later date, when everything is safe once more.
