Clara Vetter Collective
Clara Vetter explores her personal artistic universe connecting herself to her own impulses. Her music, categorizable as contemporary jazz, is influenced by her classical music background and the fascination for improvised and new music.
When composing and performing Clara pursues complexity. For her, that is a tool to transfer inspiration, such as own experiences as well as close observations of the world that surrounds her, into an own unique art form. Especially events that are unpredictable and surprising but feel right and in a wonderful way – natural – are Clara’s greatest inspiration. By constantly increasing her musical vocabulary as a pianist, composer and arranger she opens up to various impulses to enter her vision, which can provoke hearable but unexplainable moments in her music.
To furthermore support growing her own musical range and knowledge, Clara is playing with changing band instrumentation to continuously work with different people and characters. The new project “Clara Vetter Collective” is supposed to create a suitable room for that special artistic exchange:
• No fixed instrumentation
• Musicians can participate whenever they want and have the time to do so
• Clara’s compositions will be explored from a new perspective each time new people are involved
• Each participating person is welcome to influence the music in his or her original and free way
Lineup:
Clara Vetter – Piano, composition
Lorenzo Colocci – Flute
Daniel Sousa – Alt saxophone
Jonas Engel – Alt saxophone
Rafal Rózalski – Bass
Lasse Jacobsen – Drums

Fama M’Boup In June
Fama M’Boup is a Berlin original. After education in jazz, she took a closer look at the territories of contemporary music, electronics and producing while staying loyal to her main instrument – the voice. Upon moving to Copenhagen, she started composing for her new project ‘In June’, which includes four voices and electronics. The pieces grieve the loss of close ones and celebrate the joy of connecting with the ones that are here.
“This is the most honest I can get right now. And I feel comfortable in it. This is my element right now”, she says and is right.
‘In June’ starts with us as humans and is connecting desire with loss and the female with the bass. It asks: “And what about emotions? Where are yours?”
