Michael Mørkholt/ Solhorn (dk): Solhorn is a solo project of danish artist Michael Mørkholt. A Solhorn performance consists of a live demonstration of a manually operated sculptural installation. Formally, it has the shape of a concert, but in a concrete formal experiment that expands the focus from sound, performer and instrumentalist towards space, spacial awareness, image and receiver. Most recent works revolve around reduction and abstraction in the interaction between sound, light and shadow, bodily movement in space, technology and magic. A recurring idea is to build a framework for an interdiciplinary synaesthetic whole with a direct link between sound and image. http://lillekommune.blogspot.dk
Mikael Eriksson (se) – Director of artistic operations, sound- and video artist. Educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Visual Arts, 1983-88. Mikael Ericsson works with various modes of expressions and projects, such as drawing, sculpture, sound- and videoinstallations. He has exhibited regularly in the Nordic countries and Europe and also directed TV series, radio, music and stage plays. In the recent years the work has focused on a series of large scale sound- and video installations, often presented in an architectural context like a dungeon of an old fortress or in a especially built space. In 2012 he created Millophonia, a site specific sound installation at Harp Art Lab. Harp Art Lab is a laboratory for sound art situated on the Swedish west coast and works with artists and communities of interest to create performances and installations. For KoncertKirken Sound Art Festival Harp Art Lab presents a live performance called “BZZZ” with the Swedish artistsMikael Ericsson, Julijana Nemeti & Peter Bengtsson. The show consists of field recordings of honey bees, videoprojections and sound poetry. http://www.harpartlab.se/ – www.trumtrum.se
