Koncert med Den Danske Klaverduo

Den 1. søndag i advent står i klavermusikkens tegn og vi inviterer til et magisk samvær i KoncertKirken på Blågårds Plads i København.

Dagen byder på hele 2 unikke koncerter med Den Danske Klaverduo (www.danishpianoduo.com) spillet af Danmarks førende koncertpianister – Tanja Zapolski og Rikke Sandberg – i samarbejde med lysdesigneren Mikael Sylvest.

Koncert kl. 17.00-18.00:
Fantastisk klavermusik for 2 flygler. Læn dig tilbage i stolene og nyd nogle af de smukkeste klaverværker spillet af de to kvindelige pianister. Til denne koncert spilles bl.a. Dobbelt Klaverkoncerten af Poulenc, musik af Schubert, Piazzolla, Dvorak m.m.

LayDownConcert kl 19.30-20.30:
PRÆMIERE på den første LayDownConcert!
Tag en yogamåtte med og læg dig ned omkring flyglerne. Slip stress og uro, og lad julefreden sænke sig over dig med smuk klavermusik og lysdesign.
For første gang i DK bliver der spillet et af de bedste og mest succesfulde værker af minimalistisk musik, nemlig Canto Ostinato af Simeon ten Holt. Dette værk er mere et ritual end en koncert. Canto Ostinato fortryller og rører publikum over hele verden med hypnotiserende sekvenser af gentagne motiver, subtilt skiftende teksturer og enestående klangfarver.
LayDownConcerts kom til Tanja som en inspiration fra Holland, hvor pianisten Jeroen Van Veen fremfører Canto Ostinato med www.liegekonzert.com. Tanja vil meget gerne bringe denne nye og fantastiske type koncerter til Danmark og håber, at du vil nyde den så meget som folk gør i Holland.

December 1st we invite you to a magical get-together in the ConcertChurch in the city of Copenhagen.
2 unique concerts with the Danish Piano Duo (www.danishpianoduo.com), played by Denmark’s leading concert pianists Tanja Zapolski and Rikke Sandberg, in collaboration with lighting designer Mikael Sylvest.

You can choose 1 or 2 concerts that day:

Concert with Danish Piano Duo at 17 o’clock: Great piano music for 2 grand pianos played by Danish Piano Duo and lighting design by Mikael Sylvest.
Lean back in the chairs and enjoy some of the most beautiful piano works played by Rikke Sandberg and Tanja Zapolski. They play amazing Double Piano Concert by Poulenc, music by Schubert, Piazzolla, Dvorak and more.

LayDownConcert at 19.30 o’clock – PREMIERE on the first LayDownConcert!!
Bring something to lay down on (a yoga mat or you can rent one in the church) and lie down comfortably around the pianos. Let go of the stress and worries and let the Christmas peace embrace you with beautiful piano music and lighting design.
For the first time in DK, one of the best and most successful works of minimalist music is played, namely Canto Ostinato by Simeon ten Holt. This work is more a ritual than a concert. Canto Ostinato enchants and touches audiences around the world with mesmerizing sequences of repetitive motifs, subtly changing textures and unique tones of tone.
LayDownConcerts came to me as an inspiration from Netherlands, where one of the minimal music master pianists Jeroen Van Veen performs Canto Ostinato with his www.liegekonzert.com. I would love to bring this new and amazing type of concerts to Denmark and hope you will enjoy it as much as people do in The Netherlands.

You can either come to one of the concerts – or you can experience both at a reduced price.
In between the concerts you can eat dinner at one of the many cozy cafes close to the ConcertChurch.
