Trans-Atlantic Chamber Folk Band
Bandet spiller trans-atlantiske arrangementer af tekster og melodier fra bl.a Scandinavien, Irland, Skotland, England, Québec, Acadia. Hver musiker bidrager med sin egen opfattelse af disse traditioner, hvilket skaber det ekstraordinære samspil mellem deres stemmer og deres utallige instrumenter.
Vi får en samling af polskas, groovy reels, passionærede kærlighedssange, hymner og originale kompositioner.

Skye Consort & Emma Björling perform trans-Atlantic arrangements of songs & tunes from Sweden, Norway, Ireland, Scotland, England, Québec, Acadia, the USA, as well as original compositions. Each musician brings their own individual interpretation to these traditions to create this extraordinary collaboration, consisting of voices, fiddle, nyckelharpa, cello, bouzouki, banjo, and percussion. An assortment of whirling polskas, groovy reels, passionate love songs, breathtaking hymns, and original compositions.

Felaboga (no/us/de)
Feleboga is a family band based in Oslo, Norway, playing traditional music from Norway and old-time the southern Appalachian mountains.
The band performs driving hoedowns and lilting fiddle tunes as well as old ballads and newer songs describing life in the Appalachian region of the Southern United States. Feleboga tells stories using fiddles, banjo, guitar, bass, and singing: stories of the hardships of coal mining, the beauties of nature, the disreputable side of town, and the humorous aspects of married life. In addition Feleboga performs the oldest Norwegian traditional tunes and dances.
The band has performed concerts, played for dances, and held workshops in Germany, Denmark, England,Poland, Thailand, Iceland, Norway and the US.

Kessinger Project (no/da)
The trio performs the driving, exuberant contest tunes of Clark Kessinger, noted fiddler from West Virginia. Born in 1896, Kessinger was influenced by classical violinist Fritz Kreisler, incorporating technical gymnastics in his performances of traditional fiddle tunes.
