A special evening for all who love chamber music and ballet. Enescu’s Octet for Strings is one of the great masterpieces of chamber music; its rich and fantastic world of sound creates a truly magical atmosphere. The concert also includes Eugène Ysaÿe’s beautiful and technically challenging Violin Sonata No. 3, (which was dedicated to Enescu), and the iconic Chaconne from Bach’s Partita No. 2. Our dancers have created fantastic new choreography to both the Bach and Ysaÿe.
