The Clavichord is a copy after late 18th century un-fretted instruments, built by Richard Auber and Zuckermann Harpsichords, Stonington CT, USA, 2019.
Gilbert Martinez, a native of California, has been a resident of Copenhagen since 2013. His main artistic activity is as a recitalist on a wide spectrum of historic keyboards from his own collection, including clavichord, harpsichord and fortepiano.
He is a regular collaborator with Copenhagen Soloists, The Copenhagen Philharmonic, and in various appearances with the Copenhagen Renaissance Festival and Early Monday.
He is also the artistic director of MusicSources, a concert series featuring historic keyboards, based in Berkeley, California.
