The theme for this evening is “Disappearing Sounds” in which we would like to explore the future of the many diverse species living on our planet.

For the first half of the concert, we have invited multidisciplinary artist and climate change activist Peet Morrison to give a talk and performance with solo cello and electronics.

For the second half of the concert, we have invited the award winning ensemble 3lectrio to present a new take on “Stabat Mater”, a meditation on the sufferings of Holy Mary during the crucifixion of Christ. 3lectrio is a trio comprised of guitarist Francesco Rista, electroacoustic composer Simone Giordano and singer Sandra Lind Þorsteinsdóttir.
