Dowland and Hume composed songs for their favorite instrument – the lute and the viola da gamba. Georg takes their songs and adds some new ones to this repertoire of singer songwriter tradition.

Georg sings and plays the viola da gamba and the double bass in his ensembles Fetish Baroque, ĀrtHouse17 & ĀrtHouseOpera, and is part of the music theatre production MUSICA FUGIT of street theatre group Kamchàtka and SEASONS – a Cirque Noël production by Adrian Schvarzstein. He plays at festivals like the styriarte, festival Potsdam Sanssouci, Utrecht Early Music Festival but also in less common settings such as Folsom Berlin, on the Darklands Mainstage at Leather Pride Belgium, the Kunsthaus Graz, where he presented his first performance-installation, or Porgy & Bess Jazz Club in Vienna, where he will present his next performance-installation in June 2021.

Since he was awarded the Austrian Startstipendium Kunst by the Kulturministerium des Staates Österreich Georg travels with his solo programs inside Europe and to countries like Lebanon, Australia and Pakistan. He is repeatedly supported by the Austrian Embassy, the Goethe Institut (Germany) and the SCAC – the cultural program of the French embassy.
