A new improvising duo constellation with two extraordinary instrumentalists:

The american trumpeter Nate Wooley has been gathering international acclaim for his idiosyncratic trumpet language. Time Out New York has called him “an iconoclastic trumpeter”, and Downbeat’s Jazz Musician of the Year, Dave Douglas has said, “Nate Wooley is one of the most interesting and unusual trumpet players living today, and that is without hyperbole”.

Torben Snekkestad has with his advanced playing techniques, intuitive improvisations, refined compositional use of structure, tone and form and a distinct poetic ear, earned himself a place in the line of groundbreaking innovative saxophonists. Allaboutjazz wrote about his debut album: “Conic Folded is a fully formed collection of saxophone and improvisational mastery”

This sunday evening you could experience these two musicians, for the very first time, in a totally improvised set!
