Raga compositions, vocal ornamentations and playful rhythms spanning from the 18th century to the present day take centre stage when Reshail Mansoor (vocals) and Imran Khan (tabla) meet in a unique improvisation-based interaction.

Reshail Mansoor has been captivating audiences for years with his vocal prowess and his musical vision of building bridges between raga music and other musical styles. Imran Khan is a traditional tabla player trained in the Delhi style of playing, but who has developed a modern approach to the musical tradition.
Reshail Mansoor is a classical vocalist.His musical roots can be traced back to his teacher & mentor Ustad Harbajjan Singh Bansal under whom he studied the fine art of North Indian classical & semi classical vocal music for almost 2 decades.
Later Reshail had the opportunity to receive Khayal gaiki training from the Late Ustad Fateh Ali Khan(1935-2017) of Patiala Gharana in Pakistan.
Raga music of the subcontinent is at the centre of Reshail’s musical universe.The performances are rooted in melodic raga compositions coupled by complex yet captivating rhythms. His musical heritage can be traced back to the 16th century,unfolding the mystic raga based genres such as khayal, thumri, ghazal & sufi kalam(lyrics) aiming to create serenity through soulful and dynamic musical renditions & soundscapes.
He has contributed with many Raga – Fusion based performances & collaborations with a number of international artists during the past years.
Imran Khan comes from a family of traditional musicians, Imran started playing tabla at the age of 7 and learned from the best. His grandfather is the great tabla Maestro Ustad Faiyaz Khan with whom he has shared the stage at several occasions.
In the past decade Imran Khan has been accompanying many renowned artists and has given many solo performances, both in India and Internationally. He performed in many countries including Japan, Korea, England, The Netherlands, Germany, Slovenia and Nigeria. Imran has played at prestigious festivals and venues like Habitat Center (Delhi), Kamani Auditorium (Delhi), Embassy of Mexico (Delhi), Asian Music Conference (JPN), Saitama Arts Theatre (JPN), Yeakdang – National Center for Korean Traditional Performing Arts (Seoul, KR), Indian Arts Delegation (Lagos, NGA), Concertgebouw Amsterdam (NLD), Peace Palace Den Haag (NLD), Stockholm Sangeet Sabha (SWE), Hytt Dreva Festival (SWE), Copenhagen World Music Festival (DNK) and many more. His performances have been broadcasted on TV frequently and some of them are available online too.
Some of India’s greatest artists have been accompanied by Imran Khan, including Ustad Aashish Khan (Sarod), Pandit Madhup Mudgal (Vocal), Shri Jagdeep Singh Bedi (Sitar), Faiyaz Khan (Sarangi), Shri Veena Murdur (Vocal) and Shrimati Meera Prasad (Sitar).
In 2019 and from 2022 to this date, Imran undertakes his own tours to Europe. During these tours Imran plays with various artists, both from Europe and India.
Next to his performances Imran is an enthusiastic teacher and accompanies students at Delhi’s famous music institute Gandharava Mahavidyalaya. From 2006 to 2010 he was a dedicated teacher at Delhi’s National Bal Bhavan’s Summer Camp. In 2019 he taught music to aspiring musicians of different age groups in a summer camp organised by Sahitya Kala Parishad, Delhi. Imran works online too and teaches with great passion to international students from Europe and the US.
In 2010 Imran received a National Scholarship by Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. In 2007 he received awards by Delhi Tabla Vikas Parishad and ‘SA MA PA’. Next to that he has also been part of the national archiving of classical music at the Indira Gandhi National Center for Arts.
