Voutchkova/Maraš Duo
The duo had their first encounter in 2007 performing for the Swiss-Balkan Project in Sofia, Beograd, Pristine and Kosovo. Since then the two performers kept their artistic relationship and performed further for the Sofia Music Weeks Festival – Sofia/Bulgaria, Swiss Music Days Festival – Beograd/Serbia, Quite Cue and Biegungen im Ausland series – Berlin/Germany and more. The duo developed their original style combining
acoustic music with electronics, text and performance. The musicians are intrigued by real time composition/improvisation focusing on the vast border line between prestructured
elements (compositions) and responsive parts (improvisations) and they work simultaneously with both in respect to the performing space, audience and momentum.

Biliana Voutchkova
Biliana develops strong interest in contemporary composed and improvised musicalready in the early 90-ies. Since then she is active as a performer/composer performing major contemporary solo and chamber music repertoire alongside her own original music. Biliana lives in Berlin and collaborates with the Splitter Orchestra, Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop, Ensemble Modern and Sasha Waltz & Guests among others. In recent years she started working intensively with dancers, expanded her interest into instant composition of sound and movement, co-founded her group Grapeshade and developed the idea of OSM – open sound & movement collective with partner Louise Wagner leading into curating their own series at Radial System V in Berlin and Ufer Studios/HZT.

Svetlana Maraš
For years she uses sound as a tool for exploration of musical form, expression and meaning in the wider artistic context. Improvises using objects, laptop, electronics and
prepared instruments. Her works have been composed for various media, explores the boundaries of musical being by the way of realisation of musical ideas through sound,
text, physical object or digital technology. Fascination with the relation of music and everyday object results in theoretical research “Embedded composition”, part of her
graduate thesis at MediaLab, Helsinki.

Wendra Hill feat. Myhre/Pfeil/Eilertsen
Wendra Hill is an acoustic improvising duo from Norway, consisting of Jo David Meyer Lysne on prepared guitars and Joel Ring on Cello.
For this special occasion the duo will be performing with electronic musician/multidisciplinary artist Jenny Berger Myhre, guitarist and singer Tobias Pfeil and the amazing Henriette Eilertsen on flutes.
These are some of the very top young improvisers from Norway, promising new and refreshing soundscapes morphing continuosly over time.
